Calibre 45 : (pieza ambiental)

Consiste en escoger algunos árboles Ficus ó arbustos (ej. Piracanto) ubicados en calles ó avenidas del DF y recortarlos en forma de “Pistola” -siguiendo la costumbre de cortar su follaje con intención ornamental.

La idea es enfatizar el “ambiente amenazante” (ya casi natural) que se vive en la ciudad de México.

Amenaza por un lado por quienes sustentan el poder y por otro, por los que no lo tienen.

La ó las pistolas estrían dispuestas con una inclinación tal, que parecieran apuntar a los paseantes.

45 Bullet (ambiental piece)

It consists of choosing some Ficus trees either shrubs (ej. Piracanto) located in streets of México city and to trim them in form of "Gun" - being followed the custom to cut its foliage with ornamental intention.

The idea is to emphasize the "threatening atmosphere" (already almost natural) that is lived in the Mexico city. Threat a side by those who sustain the power and on the other hand, by that they do not have it. Or the guns flute so arranged with an inclination, that they seemed to aim at the people.
